Meet the Founder
Designed by a Physical Therapist, for Physical Therapist
As a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Board-Certified Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy, Heather Cody has dedicated more than a decade to helping patients regain mobility, improve balance, reduce fall risks, and maintain independence.

A graduate of Sacred Heart University's Doctor of Physical Therapy program, Heather began her career at Jewish Senior Services in Bridgeport, Connecticut, completing a specialized geriatric residency that provided experience across sub-acute care, long-term care, outpatient rehabilitation, and home healthcare settings.

Working primarily in home healthcare since 2017, Heather recognized a recurring challenge: traditional rehabilitation cones were often too bulky to transport conveniently, and their fixed heights limited opportunities for individualized exercises. Therapists needed equipment that was portable, adaptable, and practical for treating patients wherever care was provided.

In 2017, Heather began developing a solution. Her innovative, collapsible therapy cone design received a U.S. patent in 2021, marking an important milestone in her mission to make rehabilitation equipment more accessible and versatile.

TheraCone was born from real clinical experience, combining the convenience therapists need with the flexibility their patients deserve.
